The process of International Dating is very different from what you know as dating in your hometown. This can mean learning a few basic phrases in her language or looking up the region in which she lives and what might be happening there in current events. Don't overdo it and don't start throwing random factoids at her in the first few messages. Save your knowledge and relish it. You'll find that it will come in handy later if things become more serious.

Be Sensitive of Her Culture

Be aware that not all cultures are the same as ours. This goes along with researching her homeland as well, but make sure you don't act as you would with a Western woman. If you speak to her as though you've just met in a bar and want to get to know each other a bit, you're going to overwhelm and confuse her. In many other cultures, the act of dating is an entirely different experience, in some cases leading directly to marriage. Be aware of this and act the part; courteous, well mannered, but always yourself.

Be Honest

This applies to all forms of dating, but never lie to a woman that you find interesting and hope to date further. It serves no one if you impress her immediately only to reveal to her later that you've lied. Be honest with her and with yourself and share the facts of who you really are. This means as well that you should not try to impress her with your monetary situation or with your material possessions. Just being you should be enough. If it's not, you should consider speaking to another woman.
